Global a splinter club from EMCC was formed in 1996. The inspiration on forming Global cricket club was a shear love of cricket and camaraderie.
Nawaz Rawther was the first Captain and Murali Nair vice captain.
Global joined the Sri Lankan Sunday League 1997, as the first non-Sri Lankan team, and achieved promotion to Division 1 and was actively participating until the formation of Malayalee league.
The club has won numerous Malayalee tournaments through its brief history and takes pride in being professional outfit. The players come from all different backgrounds and having fun is a main ingredient of the team.
The Global moto of playing circket lead to the formation of Global 1 in 2004 to 2009. Sugesh Bhaskaran became the captain of Global 1 and Ajit Azad the vice captain. The main objective in the formation of another team was to ensure that all the members of Global got an opportunity to play cricket.
Global are proud to be part of the Malayalee League and are proud to be one of the founder members of this league.

Global have being the champions of the UKMCL T20 competition 5 times.

In 2002 Global was the first and only club (to date) to hold the Malayalee Association of the UK (MAUK), Kerala Cultural Welfare Association (KCWA) and Kerala Catholic Association (KCA) cups in the same year.

Global’s players Sharon Cleetus holds the second highest century for UKMCL and Murali Nair the first centurion of the UKMCL league.
